Hi there! My name is Helen and I just transferred from Maths Applications and Interpretations Hl (MAIH) to Maths Analysis and Approaches Hl (MAAH). Yes. I know. You think I’m crazy. It’s the second semester of JC 1. Literally everyone else is either sticking with their subject selections or dropping down to easier subjects. Yet here I am going up to a more difficult level. Let me tell you one more shocking fact: I didn’t take Add maths. Kill me now :’). The reason for moving? Yep, we’ll get to that at the end of this page (while I continue to contemplate my decisions for now)

Let me start by telling you a little about myse-. Wait, do you even want to know about me? Oh well, I’m gonna go ahead anyways since I’m a newbie at this whole blogging thing and I guess this would be an okay..start?
I’m the second child of three siblings with an age gap of 5 years between each sibling – yes we were planned. My personality is by far the most different one compared to my two extroverted siblings. I used to have bad stage frights and would literally freeze on stage, but it’s definitely gotten better over the years! Many people say that I always look like I am about to kill someone. Seriously, I don’t have any intentions to look like that…or kill anyone. I generally have a straight face unless I’m actually laughing, so don’t be scared of me okay XD.
Oh and I want to flex a little~. I have this thing where I can remember random people’s faces, voice and small memories for a really long time. I’ll tell you one of the many incidents that happened just half a year ago. I go to a lesson called Ko Indra, where i study maths and science. The setting is like several connected rooms with tables dedicated to a certain subject. Students from any school or grade can come and sit together in one table to study physics for example. That day, i was standing around the chemistry table and i heard a voice that was really, really familiar. I couldn’t remember at that time where and when i had heard that voice. I then sat next to the girl who had that familiar voice. I kept thinking if i had met her before or not.

THEN IT HIT ME. She sounded like a girl i met in a different math lesson Sakamoto back when i was in primary 4. I was going to keep it to myself but i was so curious and I thought i probably won’t get another chance to ask her. So i did. I again, “Did you go to Sakamoto for lessons before?” Thankfully she was really friendly and told me yes. I asked her again whether her teacher was Ms Shirley and she said yes. We talked some more and she was S-H-O-O-K. She couldn’t remember who I was but everything i said matched up. We then talked some more and we realised we both liked manga. (I don’t read much anymore but i used too). We followed each other’s instagram.
At home, i scrolled through her posts and guess what? I see her sister in one of her posts and honestly i remember her sister even more vividly. I decided not to mention it though. This isn’t the first one and certainly not the last one that this could happen. My friends said it was creepy, but i always tell them “At least you can be assured that someone will always remember your face and voice lmaoo.”
Well, i think that’s all for now! Please help out a fellow student attempting math by following my blog and criticising them in the comments when necessary. I’m introverted so i generally choose not to be the “approacher” but I’m approachable! Hehehe see ya~
O shoot forgot to tell you the reason i moved classes. Here it is: My major. Yep, boringg reasonn. Last minute realisation guys. Don’t repeat my mistake kay!
Here are some pics of my hometown and the various local food to spice up my blog your day >.<
Can you guess where it is?
